About Warren Engines

Founder and drag racing pioneer, Bobby Warren, was a tobacco farmer in eastern NC when he started tinkering on cars in the 1960s. He took notice early on that there was always room for advancement in automotive engine design. As long as he had a car and a competitive itch, he knew he could figure out a way to make it faster. His opportunistic approach to automotive improvements afforded him with a household name on both the drag racing circuit and in the engine-building community. As his local customer base grew, his innovative reputation spread like wildfire. So in 1985, he moved the operation to its current location the heart of Clinton, NC where sons Jeff and Joey now lead the pursuit of lower ETs and greater top end speeds.
